fantastic city strolls with easy access to parks and landmarks
I loved how centrally located the lodge was, making it super easy to explore nearby landmarks and parks while really getting a feel for the Amazon's unique atmosphere through guided jungle hikes and informative lectures on local tribes.

The dolphins playing by the boat, the night trip, the hike, our guide Haulys,
Would have liked air-conditioning, fewer power cuts, more to do in the time spent in (like the afternoon).

Comfortable beds, a mini-fridge-bar, a seating area, and a writing table in the room. Location not far from the Juma river, the jungle wake up, and Juma Lodge...

We took the 4 nights package staying on the room with a view to the river and we were luckly upgraded to the room with a view to the river. It was for sure the best thing! The view is amazing and very relaxing. The room is clean and confortable and has the basics that you need (do not expect a 5 star hotel after all you will be in the middle of the jungle!). Food served is very good as well. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are well served and have many options (meat/fish, Pasta/Rice, many fruits, great deserts). It is a great place to stay in contact with nature with some confort. It is definitively recommended!

Natural environment of the Amazon. English speaking guides who were knowledgable and capable. Excellent transfer connections (there were a number) and quality transportation vehicles/boats. Lodge picks you up at airport and transfers you to your hotel. Lodge keeps your excess luggage during the trip. Comfortable huts and adequate bathroom facilities with hot water occasionally.
Would suggest name tags for all staff. Instructions on what to expect could have been better. Could do better with the hot water.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing
The view from our superior room with a lake view was fine. The way the sun danced on the water was magical! Each day was filled with adventure, from canoeing with an very nice guide who knew the ins and outs of the Amazon to fishing for piranhas! The food was delicious.
do recommend 🥰🌿

The staff make the experience. Our guide was fantastic!!
For the cost of the trip I would have expected drinking water to be free at all times and not just with meals, since it is easy to get de- hydrated out there!!

1. Staff: good quality from guides, specially Cobra - our tour guide 2. Structure: pretty amazing how they built a good strucuture in the middle of the jungle. 3. Environment: there is no luxury at all. Be ware you will get a cold shower! But the lodge respects the environment of the jungle. It's cozy, clean, really relaxing and there is comfort involved - you will get a good bed, nice installations for the kitchen, nice area to chat with other guests 4. Food. Really good!
1. Way back to Manaus: the logistic and the staff were not really prepared. We had to wait in the warm weather for the transfers (boat and car)

Recommend for a weekend rest
Amazing scenery, really good service, with the beautiful outdoor swimming pool providing a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the area and amazing guided canoeing excursions that showcased the lush Amazon landscapes.
No problems at all.

I can write many "minus", but I don't do it coz first to all it's eco lodge without any convinient - forget about it. Merge with nature

We had an very nice time at this lodge, especially exploring the beautiful igarapés and igapós. The nature tours were a highlight, and it was fascinating to learn about the local ecology from our knowledgeable guide. Enjoyed piranha fishing and the sights of local wildlife with my dad!
For dads, it would be great to have better cooling options in the rooms.

The Juma Amazon Lodge's layout includes walkways connecting the spacious cabanas, making access easy and allowing for a peaceful stroll through beautiful surroundings while accommodating the needs of senior guests comfortably.
More cooling options would enhance comfort at night.

Spending three nights in the Amazon was very nice, with our knowledgeable guide enhancing every experience. Swimming in the river provided a refreshing escape, and the meals featured delicious regional dishes like tapioca pancakes and fresh fish. Be prepared for the heat at night without air conditioning, and the lack of WiFi may not suit everyone's preferences. The journey to the lodge is quite long, so plan accordingly for a comfortable trip.

The cabin was very good. Super clean with a cute treat and a balcony with a hammock that sways gently over the river. The spacious bathroom impressed me, especially compared to other places in Brazil. Meals were delicious, with a buffet offering local dishes and fresh fruits. I saw monkeys interacting freely, a treat! Activities kept me busy, and I particularly loved crocodile spotting and the fine sunrise. The guides were knowledgeable and ensured everyone had a great experience. On the downside, the trip to get there was long, involving multiple transportation methods. There were some activities that didn't meet expectations, like the boat ride to see a tree that we had already passed. Clear communication from the management could improve the experience. WiFi was rather weak. Still, swimming in the Amazon and the overall lodge atmosphere made it lovely.
